Ventilation, temperature and acoustics were defined as three pressures that serve as parameters to create a kinetic system on both a unit and building scale. As a building system, the modules act similarly to leaf stoma that allow the exchange of gas through the opening and closing of holes. The secondary exterior skin of each unit reacts simultaneously with the interior cubic volume, expanding and contracting as it reacts to interior changes in temperature according to human occupancy. The third system, an interior acoustics wall, resembling pleated paper origami, folds and unfolds as the space changes in size; therefore, creating a variety of acoustical experience for the inhabitants within.
